Every time I see the Golden Gate Bridge I have wonderful memories of living in San Francisco. It is such an amazing city with so much to see and do.
Max has been talking about walking on the bridge since seeing it on Soarin' Over California. I promised him next time we went up to the city we would take him. It's taken us a while to get up to the city but we finally made it!
It was a really foggy day, shocker! But we headed across anyway. We only went about half way because I was worried Max would get tired of his scooter and I would end up with 2 kids stacked in the stroller and carrying the scooter.
Looks like I had to worry more about 2 kids stacked on a scooter and running after them with empty stroller in tow.
We headed down to Pier 39 afterward to look around and have dinner. We searched for the seals down there but couldn't find them.
We did find a sweet store called Lefty's with all left handed items in it. My little lefty thought that was pretty cool. We had a quick dinner at Bubba Gumps and then raced Eric to the airport to catch a flight home. His work is always getting in the way of our fun!
It was a great day in the city.
