Maybe because he did it to the opposite arm almost exactly a year ago! Yes, this fragile wrist guy broke the right side reliving his glory days on a skateboard. When he fell I jokingly said "Oh, did you break your wrist?" to which he replied "Yeah, I think I did". He drove himself to urgent care and 4 hours later came home with a splint and a positive Xray for a broken wrist.
This break was a little different than last year because this one required surgery.
So Jude and I took him in for outpatient surgery to have a plate put in his wrist. We then promptly went home and burned the skateboard.
