Summer Cut

He finally gave in, he finally realized my cow lick was never going to lay down, and he finally trusted my Mom that it was going to look good (Mom made me put that). My Dad FINALLY buzzed my hair off! I don't know what I like more...how handsome I look or being free from gel and styling products!

Pretty cool, don't you think? Now I need to start on my tan.

Potty Time

For the past 2 weeks I've been working on getting out of those soggy old diapers and into my awesome chonies. It's been quite the treat filled experience...but I think I'm finally catching on! Mom promised me ice cream if I went poopies in the potty. So last Friday the magical day happened. I have to say it's a lot better than having it all smashed in my diaper (I know, too much information). Once Dad got home we all trooped down to Baskin Robins for my ice cream. I insisted on green ice cream, whipped cream, and rainbow sprinkles. It was AWESOME.
Mom wised up after a couple days and bought some ice cream for the freezer because I insist on having it after every number 2 that goes in the big potty. How could I not love potty training?

Snuggle Pup

Now that I have my new bed, Mom sometimes let's brother sleep with me for naps. About 15 minutes after my Mom put me to bed she checked on me and this is what she saw. I couldn't resist getting in a little snuggle time with pup! The bonuses of the big boy bed are endless.

FREEEEDOOOOM!!!!

I finally figured out how to climb out of my crib! Something my Mom and Dad have feared would happen for a long time now. After climbing out of several pack-n-plays and my crib, Mom finally decided it was time for a big boy bed! It is the most AWESOME thing EVER! Well, it's really my crib with the front taken off, but I can come and go as I please.

Mom and I went to the store to pick out my cool new sheets. I thought I should match my Lightning McQueen sheets with my Lightning McQueen PJ's. Pretty stylin' huh?

I'm still working on staying in my bed when Mom or Dad puts me to sleep and sleeping until the sun comes up in the morning, but I LOVE my new bed. I also have to find a way to stop rolling out and loosing my binki's out the back.

Mom said...

...if I didn't get off the bed she was going to make me into it.

She wasn't kidding!

The Living Desert

I spent the rest of the time with my Hawaii cousins at Paga's house. We went swimming every day, Uncle Greg made his famous Italian pizza, we saw Alice in Wonderland, and went to the Living Desert (or the zoo as I call it). Don't you think this picture is sweet? I chose the bike racks as a back drop myself!

There are lots of cool animals at the Living Desert. Giraffes, Leopards, Turtles, and Zebras. We tried to feed the Giraffes, but they weren't feeling it that day. Cuz is sporting some sweet shades in this indigenous pot we played in.

The Living Desert also has a Butterfly/Hummingbird house. Do you think I'll blend in?

Bria and I were trying to coax the Butterflies to fly onto our fingers. Didn't work that well.

I spotted one on the ground and made sure my Mom didn't step on it.

It was a fun trip. I'm so glad my cousins came to visit and will miss them so much! I'll see them again when we go visit Hawaii...right Mom?!

Disneyland, Hawaii Style

Two and a half weeks ago my cousins from Hawaii came to visit. I got to spend a week with Cozi, Catie, Enna, Bria, Lucie, Uncle Greg and Aunt Becky at Disneyland! They let me and Mom stay with them in the new Disney Vacation Club rooms at the Grand Californian. Paga, Aunt Shalaine, and Axel also came. It was so much fun!!! I could have easily spent 2 weeks there.

Here I am with Cozi, so excited to start our first day. I was dying to go on Grizzly Rapids but I am still too short. I also kept begging to go on Splash Mountain. Curse these short genes of mine!

Enna, Lucie, Axel and I are ready for Bugs Land at California adventure. I am tall enough to go on almost every ride there. I'm about 1/2 an inch too short for the bumper cars, so I watched from the sidelines.

Disneyland brought back an old 3D movie from when Mom was young, Captain EO. I was riveted on the edge of my seat the whole time! But no one could have enjoyed it more than Mom, Aunt Shalaine, and Uncle Greg. They were quoting and singing along to it the entire time.

I think I finally got over my fear of Pirates of the Caribbean. I'm not sure if it was my Buzz Lightyear gun or the cousins in their Minnie Mouse gear that helped me be brave. Whatever it was...it worked! Hey, where do I get one of those Minnie Mouse sweatshirts? I'm feeling out of place.

One morning before going to the park we went swimming (I told you this was the best week ever). What do you think of my sexy goggles?

It was an awesome and exhausting week. Can we do it again?
