It was the Birthday that never ends...

As I said in my last post, I got to celebrate my birthday over and over again! I had an awesome party at Nana and Paga's house. I ate the wrapping paper on almost every gift, and then chewed on most of the gifts inside. My two favorites were:

My Cell Phone (no texting plan, but it does light up and ring)

and

The awesome box of Kleenex my Nana gave me. Who keeps popping up the next Kleenex? I tore all of them out and couldn't find anyone at the bottom of the box!

Where is that little man?

I also enjoyed my first cupcake. Mom says that I'm lucky because it was funfetti cake mix and it's the best. I'll take her word for it. I did not like the sticky frosting on my fingers though..."could someone feed this too me?"

Birthday Part II was celebrated down in Carlsbad. I had breakfast in bed and then Mom took me to Disneyland.

They give you this awesome big button with your name on it to tell everyone that it's your birthday. It tasted pretty good too!

I went on all my favorite rides like Casey Jr., the Carousel, and Mr. Toad's wild ride. Mom didn't even make me go on the Haunted Mansion or Snow White's Scary Journey...too dark and scary!

This is a sweet shot of me playing some tunes at Goofy's house in Toon Town. That other kid is clearly jealous of my skills!

After a full fun day at Disney, I got another double layer funfetti cake when I got home. It was a pretty awesome birthday and I can't wait for next year!

Happy Birthday to Me!

Hooray, it's my first birthday today! I had a party on Friday with my Nana, Paga, Uncle Cort, Aunt Shalaine, and Cousin Axel. Then I had breakfast in bed this morning and my mom took me to Disneyland. I'll show those photos in my next post. I thought you all would like to see how much I've grown over the past year, so here are month by month pictures.

Opening presents at my 1 year party. One year old isn't too young to get a cell phone...is it?

Straight into climbing at 11 months...do you think these drawers will hold my weight?

Putting those chubby thighs to work at 10 months.

I finally got a walker at 9 months and I am clearly Loving It!

Enjoying one of my many Disneyland trips at 8 months.

7 months isn't too young to start my career as a serious Angels Fan.

Happy Easter! Hunting eggs at 6 months in some spiffy looking duds.

Sportin' the Caesar Cut at 5 months old. Boy, I'm handsome.

Finally, my classic grin at 4 months. Look out ladies!

Christmas Time! 3 months old and still no smiles.

My first time in the pool at 2 months. Why was I so serious looking?

Don't I look spooky? My first Halloween at 1 months old.

My first day on earth, one year ago today! 8lbs 10oz, 18 1/2 in.

Hot Time in the City

Boy, was it hot today in Redlands! Since we don't have a swimming pool, we headed over to Victoria Gardens to play in this water fountain that shoots up from the ground. Thankfully Aunt Shalaine and Cousin Axel introduced us to these super fun things--and we found one close to home. I got on my swim trunks and hat (my hair is a little too thin to keep my scalp from burning) and headed into the water. My Mom was kind enough to help me walk around, even though she was in her regular clothes...boy did she get soaked! She kept telling me I was lucky to have such a nice Mom, especially as dad "looked after the stroller". I had so much fun cruising around the spouts and even came face to face with a huge spray when I got a little too close. I couldn't stop giggling the whole time I was there and it helped me cool off! I hope I get to go back soon.

Can't you tell I'm LOVING it?

Just a little closer Mom so I can get a drink

Aren't my bulging muscles amazing?

Twinners

I love going to see my Nana. I get to go play at her house almost every week! It's fun to play in her bed, chew on her oxygen tube, and imitate her coughing. My dad brought these hats home and Nana and I tried them on for size. Since my head is about as big as hers, they fit us both perfectly. I can't wait until my Nana is a little better so she can come swimming in the pool with me. I love my Nana!

Don't you think it's time for a doughnut now Nana?
