I have been counting down the days until Cars Land opened at California Adventure. Mom said it was crazy to go on opening day...but I think she secretly wanted to go too! Paga was the only one who was crazy enough to join us. We didn't sleep out in line or get there at 6 a.m., but we went first thing in the morning.
The entire entrance to the park is redone to look like Buena Vista St. when Walt Disney first came to California. There is even a trolley car that you can ride on.
I thought this old gas station was pretty cool looking.
Cars Land was incredible....and incredibly crowded. The shortest wait was 2 hours to get on a ride. We aren't that insane. The whole place looked exactly like the movie. Mom and Slimes stopped by the Cozy Cone motel to get us the official cone drinks.
I think Slimes thoroughly enjoyed Cars Land.
We snuck over to Disneyland just to ride the reopened Matterhorn. Not much has changed except the cars. You no longer ride two people to a seat. Each person gets their own seats in the bobsled. Paga said its jerky as ever!
