Boating Adventures

 On Saturday we decided to rent a party boat to hang out on the lake.

 It was so awesome. It could pull a tube behind it and even had a BBQ aboard!

 Ahoy, I'm driving the boat.

 Dad let me drive some for real, until a water cop pulled up and said "What do you think you're doing?"  He was actually referring to something else we were doing, but it made Mom nervous enough that I didn't really drive after that.

 Brooks and I thought it was time to test out the tube. We were all smiles until the boat took off and the tube nose dived under sending us flying off the tube. Thank heavens we had the life vests on! We decided to only brave the tube with an adult after that.

 Slimes was loving the wind in his face and the water splashing up in to the boat.

 The brave kids took rides on the tube with Dad. The brave kids were me, Brooks, and Mom:) It was SOOOO fun!

 We pulled the boat up to a sandy cove and played around for a while. Jude loves Luc, they're best buddies:)

 Slimes mostly stuck to the beach. The water was so warm in the lake though that he ventured out butt deep.

 "Hey guys, this is SO much warmer than the ocean."

We ended the day by grilling some hot dogs on the boat and munching on some watermelon and chips. It was a perfect end to a beautiful boating day!

Dad and Slimes were begging Mom to buy a boat of our own:)
