My San Jose friends: Brooks, Brady, and Brett (and their parents Luc and Reanna) invited us to their cabin in Bass Lake. I couldn't think of anything more awesome...so we loaded up the car and headed up there.
Unfortunately as soon as we got to the grapevine we saw that it was closed because of a fire so we had to loop around and take the long way up. Instead of 5 hours it took 10! and we had to eat at Carrows...which was Mom's least favorite part.
We finally got there and it was such a beautiful place! We enjoyed breakfast out on the deck in the morning with a beautiful view of the lake. This is my buddy Brady.

I got to sleep with my buddies in the front room...after enjoying some ice cream from Millers Landing.
After a long day at the lake the boys were ready to crash out in front of a movie on the couch...especially Luc.
