Pumpkin Patch

For my first school field trip at Barton House Playschool, we went to a pumpkin patch! It was fun to be there with my class and Mrs. Schmidt....and also my Mom and Big Baby Slimes.
They had a petting zoo there with a mini horse, llamas, and goats. Mom said the animals looked diseased but they seemed fine to me. There was also a hay bale maze we went through a couple times. It was hard for me because I couldn't see over the top, but the bales came up to Mom's waist so she helped me through.
This is me in an old wooden train. Mom tried to get my picture from the window side but there were lots of kids and I couldn't jockey for position.

The playground was a little sparse. It consisted of this metal slide, 2 truck tires, and some see saws that we weren't allowed to play on. Needless to say the line for the slide was pretty long. That's my teacher, Mrs. Schmidt, standing on the side.
Here is the patch where we got to pick our OWN pumpkins! It was a hard search to find one that wasn't rotted or busted open. (nice finger Mom)

Got One!

Here we are on the hayride. It was pretty sweet to ride on the giant tractor all around the patch.

After our tour of the patch we all sat down to have a snack. I was glad it was a shady spot because it was pretty hot for October!
Probably the best part of the day was running around afterward with my friends. It was a good day.
