Natural History Museum

On a recent stay at the San Diego hotel, we decided to go to Balboa Park and visit the natural history museum. We had been to the Science museum across the way the year before, so we thought we would try a new one.
It was really cool! They had lots of dinosaur skeletons and a 3D movie about dinosaurs.

I tried to climb up on this big manatee for a ride, but mom said no.

Ahhhhhhhhh, SHARK!

They had the coolest exhibit about the North Pole and Antarctica. There was a big section about penguins. They had a bunch of penguin suits you could put on and go down this ice slide like you were a penguin!

Downstairs there was a whole floor of jewels and gems. I think mom was too busy picking out her Christmas present to take any pictures. They were really beautiful.
Museums are so fun!
