The past couple years we've been at Grandma and Grandpa's house in San Jose for Thanksgiving. The day after Grandma always builds a gingerbread house with me. This year they are serving a mission in Germany, so Mom decided to carry on the tradition herself.
This is the picture on the kit, what it's supposed to look like....
....and this is what ours looked like. Not an exact copy, but pretty close:)
Mom would put on the icing and I placed all the candies. I thought one candy for the house and two candies in my mouth was a good ratio. Lucky for me, Mom thinks the candies are nasty so I get them all to myself!
I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.
