Santa Clause is Coming to Town

Christmas Eve is always a big day at Paga's house. Most of the cousins all come and we have a yummy dinner, do the Nativity play, and sing songs as we wait for Santa to come. This year was a little different. We decided to be Santa for a family that need some Christmas cheer. So early in the evening we took lots of presents and Christmas dinner to the family. It was really fun, and Cuz almost left with his very own baby stroller! (Aunt Shalaine took it back before he could get too far).
We went back to the house and had yummy ham (or bacon as I call all pork products), orange rolls, and cheesy potatoes. The best treat was the sparkling cider. I got my very own bottle!

Me and Dad enjoying the feast.

After dinner we usually do the Nativity. This year we were down a lot of the cast, so we read it from the scriptures instead. After that the Christmas singing began to wait for Santa. Mom reassured me that he was not going to be scary.

I thought Baby Marie might be scared. So I made sure to try and tell her that it was okay.

I'm not sure if I scared her or held her too tight...but she looks afraid! My cousin Luke got in on the reassurance too. Cuz isn't too hip on big things in costume, so we sat next to each other to wait for Santa to come.

Sure enough, as soon as we sang Jingle Bells he came in the door with a sack of presents. Wait a minute...this is the guy I was afraid of? He looks jolly and kind, never mind the sack of presents! Cuz still wasn't hip on the Santa thing. I tried pointing to the presents but he wasn't having it.

Hey Santa, I've been pretty good...have you got any Trick tracks for me?

Santa had two big boxes for me to open.

TRICK TRACKS! How did he know??????

Dad set up my awesome trick track circuit and Mom took care of the trick track repair shop. I am the luckiest boy alive!
Love you Santa, see you next year.

I'm so glad you had a good Christmas Max! You must have been in a good mood to let cuz put his arm around you. It's a bummer your mom hasn't installed that eye camera yet too or she would have gotten a picture of Marie perfectly content to be in your lap! Just one request...next year I need more lederhosen. Maybe you can wear it to Christmas Eve? Thanks!
