Turkey for me and a Turkey for you...

(please note I have no idea why my parents think this photo is so funny)
This year for Thanksgiving we traveled up to San Jose to spend some time with my Grandma and Grandpa McClellan. My Uncle Mark, Aunt Kylee, Jack, Alex, Sydney, and Everett were also there...so it was a PARTY!
We got into town at 3 am...but that didn't stop me from getting up at 8 to start the festivities. I haven't seen my cousins for at least a year and a half, so it was fun to play with them. Then around 3 we sat down for dinner. I was glad because the delicious smell of turkey was driving me crazy! I ate mostly turkey, but also had a little mashed potatoes and corn--hold the gravy please.

I thought I was done but when I was out of my highchair prison, I snuck over to the kids table. Winston and I couldn't resist the huge plate of turkey calling our names.

So I helped myself to the biggest piece I could find! Yummmm. Don't worry, Grandpa snuck Winston quite a few snacks when he was cutting up the turkey.

And then onto dessert! Only at Grandma's house:)

This is my Uncle Mark. He let me play a super fun game with him that Mom and Dad never let me do. It goes like this:

Slap 10 three times and then....

...head butt his chest. Okay so Mom wasn't quick enough with the camera to capture the head butt, but the dazed/pure joy look on my face says it all. He let me do it about 20 times. He is also super strong. He would lay on the floor and hold me up horizontally and toss me in the air. SOOOO Fun!

At Grandma's house she has a little chair in her kitchen just my size. The best part was every time I went and sat in it she gave me a yummy treat. Hey Mom, why don't we have fruit loops at home? They're much better than those Cheerio things you give me!

Grandma helped all of the grandkids make a gingerbread house. I wasn't quite old enough to work on the house decorating...but I got my very own gingerbread man to work on.

Here is the construction crew. Jack, Alex (they are twins), and Sydney. Everett wasn't that into decorating...but I think he snuck a couple pieces of candy.

Gotta love the gum drop buttons!

Sooooo....I tried to eat my delicious looking gingerbread man. He was hard as a rock! I guess he'll just have to go live in the hard rock gingerbread house. It looked pretty cool when my cousins got done with it. It even had Christmas lights!

We decided to avoid the black Friday shopping and went to the Monterrey Bay Aquarium (you all know how I love aquariums). Apparently lots of other people had the same idea because it was PACKED! I still had fun though. This is me, Jack, Alex and Everett at the touch pools. Evidently Everett doesn't like it!

They have an entire exhibit of jellyfish. This picture doesn't even begin to show how cool they are. We also saw sharks, giant fish, sea otters, and tons of other cool stuff.

They also had a whole exhibit of sea horses. That was really cool to watch because they had tanks that were right at my level. Plus I'm convinced that they can neigh.

Dad and I went outside...briefly. Not quite the same view as the Birch Aquarium...and definitely COLDER! This is the last picture we have of our trip because I got pretty sick after this. Turns out I had a double ear infection. What a way to ruin Thanksgiving Vacation! But the fun I had the first 2 days definitely made up for it. I can't wait to visit Grandma and Grandpa again!
