It's that time of year again....GERMAN CHRISTMAS!!!!!! So I brushed off the
lederhosen and put my shoes out to await the arrival of Nikolaus (German Santa). I love carrying on this tradition because my legs look so great in leather shorts:)

I tried out a couple of different poses this year. You'll notice the Christmas tree isn't decorated yet, but it still sets the mood.

I think I was going for yodeling here. Not my best work...but good for the portfolio.

My brother Winston is checking out my goods before I dive into my shoes. Thankfully he didn't find anything he wanted.

I got some candy and an Elmo book that makes noises. I can't decide which I loved more. I
gobbled up the candy right away (before church) and I can't get enough of my Elmo book.

I make my Mom read me this book, my Dad read me this book, and when they won't...I read it to myself! Nikolaus really pulled through this year!

CANDY!!!!

After church we went to
Paga's house and had German food with Aunt
Shalaine and Uncle Cort(and if you look closely you can see Nana was with us too!). Mom made
Stroganoff and Aunt
Shalaine made delicious cream of spinach soup and turnip
casserole. The turnips were surprisingly good! Then we pulled out the Stolen and Kinder Punch for dessert. The Kinder Punch was a bomb...not "the bomb", but a bomb (a.k.a. NASTY). So we won't be repeating that next year! It was fun to celebrate again this year, and I even think I can
squeeze into the
lederhosen again next year:)
