I just got back from spending a couple weeks with my Paga in Carlsbad. I know, I'm spoiled ROTTEN! Aunt Shalaine, Cuz, and Baby Marie were also there for most of the time. I'm telling you, it was a P-A-R-T-Y! One of my favorite things we did was go to the San Diego Zoo. I'd never been to a zoo, and I loved it.

First we took the bus tour around the zoo. We got to see most of the animal exhibits. I think my favorite was the elephants. They are SOOOO cool. Here is me and Paga hanging on the bus.

Aunt Shalaine and Baby Marie were also taking in all the animals.

And of course Cuz, hanging in his solo seat.

They have a cool little children's zoo. Once mom got me and Cuz off of the jungle gym and spin stick, we saw alligators, porcupines, otters, and I got to pet a goat.

They also had a big family of Mearcats. You can kind of see one by Axel's left hand.

We both thought they were pretty cute!

Then we took the sky buckets over to the Polar Bears. You can see his legs behind my head. He was so cool. He was playing with a ball in the water and eating carrots! Not to mention Aunt Shalaine gave us lollipops to enjoy while we watched the Polar Bear play.

Outside was a couple of silver polar bear statues. It's really hard to get a picture where two 2 years olds and a 67 year old are all looking at the camera, smiling, with their eyes open! (my mom made me write that).

We walked all over the zoo before finally getting to the best animals. The MONKEYS! This is me imitating a monkey.

They monkeys were swinging around, jumping up and down off the trees, and they were coming right up to the glass where we were standing. I thought they were hilarious! You can see a monkey sitting over my right shoulder.

Too bad Mom's camera ran out of batteries, or you could see a lot more cool pictures of monkeys. Anyway, after we hiked all over the park it was time to go home. Paga said that Axel and I were such good boys that we deserved something from the gift shop. We got matching gorilla sweatshirts and even Baby Marie got a gorilla onsie. I can't wait to go back to the zoo!
