Field Trip to the Airport

My friend Paige Potter is already in preschool (I know, I like the older ladies). Her class was going to the Redlands Airport for a field trip and I got invited along. As soon as we got there I saw an airplane taking off and was SOOOO excited! I shouted "Airpwane" over and over again. This was only the beginning of an AWESOME day. Casper was our tour guide. He piled us all into this open air vehicle and drove us to a few airplane hangers.
This is a racing airplane. It's made out of fabric and very delicate. It was SO HARD not to touch it...but mom made sure I didn't.

This is another little airplane that we got to go in. Casper showed us how the wings moved up and down and the rudder moved side to side.

I even got to touch some of the controls! I pulled back on the wheel and pushed some of the fifty million buttons. I was in HEAVEN. I had to get pushed out so someone else could have a turn. I could have stayed there all day.

Hey Mom, can we get one of these?
At the end of the tour we sat in an outdoor pavilion and enjoyed animal crackers and juice while watching the planes take off and land. Casper said we could come here anytime we want! I'm definitely planning a trip back.

Looks so fun Max! Maybe you and cuz can go to the airplane museum sometime! Also, your bike is rad. Keep using it to chase crazy "brother" around. ;)

I am sure glad you came with us Max, even though your parents were thinking it was a silly idea ;)
