One of my favorite past times this summer has been going to the beach. I love to crawl in the sand...eat the sand, play by the water, and most of all play in my big bucket of water. This was actually my Aunt Kristine's idea on my first trip to the beach. We fill the bucket with salt water, let it sit in the sun a while, and then plop me in to play for hours on end. Two weekends ago we had an unfortunate incident with the bucket. I was with my parents at Salt Creek happily playing in my bucket. I was up and down, sloshing around, playing with toys, and splashing everywhere. Suddenly my mom said to my dad, "That water is looking a little murky". My dad dismissed it to an overcast day and possible sand. I continued splashing around when my mom noticed floaters...that's right, I pooped and my swim diaper didn't quite hold it in. Needless to say with all my up and downing, sloshing around, playing with toys, and splashing....it was EVERYWHERE!!! Gross. The only solution was to strip me down over the bucket and have my dad continually drench me with clean ocean water (brrrrr!!!). We emptied and cleaned out the bucket in the trash, filled it back up, put me in a new swim diaper and I was ready to go again! Maybe next summer I'll be surfing.

Why don't you try coming to a real beach like San Clemente;)? No buckets allowed, you have to go in the big surf! I think we have a perfect board for you in our garage......it has a grey flame on it!
