Every year Eric and I say "What are we going to do for New Years?" Its a bit of a conundrum because we want to celebrate in some way but we really don't want to be out on the roads with people making bad decisions. This year Jeff and Jen invited us over for a New Years Bingo party. It was the perfect solution!
Slimes went to bed around 9 and I threw caution to the wind and decided to let Max stay up until midnight for the first time. Bingo was actually the perfect thing to help us stay awake, especially since Jen had some awesome prizes. RC cars, Angels gear, a Diet Coke shirt (my personal fav), and various chap stick (Mountain Dew flavor went first).

Max even got a chance to call the numbers. He was thrilled...but it was the longest game of the night.
At 5 minutes to midnight we grabbed the pots, pans, and poppers and headed out to the freezing street.
Did I mention we also had party horns? We were well equipped to irritate the neighbors.
Midnight hit and the wild rumpus began! We blew the horns, yelled Happy New Year, banged the pots and pans, and set off the poppers.
The thing I'll always remember, aside from the Diet Coke shirt, is Max running up and down the street as fast as his little legs would carry him blowing his party horn. This kid was living it up!!
