Every year in Huntington Beach they do a rubber duck race. Its to raise money for something or another, but the cool part is that you can win prizes! Mom and Dad were nice enough to buy 2 ducks: Boogie Bot and Captain Slimes.
There were lots of booths selling things and giant ducks to take pictures with.
Jude and I had high hopes of our duck swimming quickly in from the pier and winning first prize. A giant bulldozer dumped all the rubber ducks off the pier and we waited as the ducks washed in.
It was fun to see all these yellow rubber ducks bobbing in the waves. Unfortunately we didn't win, not even last place. But there is always next year!
