Fathers and Sons

In the middle of May (yeah, Mom's a little behind with the blogging) Dad and I got to go camping with just the boys! Our church has a Father's and Son's outing every year and I was finally old enough to go. I love camping so I was SUPER stoked to go.

I loved playing with all the other boys there. They helped me play kick ball, put me up on bike handlebars and rode me around, and played tag.

It's a good thing Mom wasn't there because Bob Cannon found this snake in his yard and brought it along. Mom would have FREAKED out!

Especially if she saw me doing this!

Of course this ignited a desire for me to get my own pet snake:)

There was a ton of food and I finally decided to try my first hamburger. I still prefer chicken nuggets, but it wasn't bad! Bob Cannon even cooked up some goat that I tried. Not bad if you avoided some of the fur that was stuck on it.

After dinner they set up this huge screen to watch a movie. I thought it was pretty awesome to be watching a movie outside.

With no Mom around I got to stay up super late! I hung out by the fire until about midnight.

MMmmmmm....s'mores.

Do I look ready for bed?

Our camp was right next to a petting zoo. So the rooster started crowing at about 5 a.m. So much for sleeping in!

I loved petting the goats...although it was a little strange after eating one the night before.

It was an awesome night and I can't wait to do it again next year.
