Utah Trip

At the beginning of January we took a little trip to Utah to visit the snow. Mom's Uncle Boyd has an awesome cabin in Park City that he let us use. I thought it would be more fun if Romi and RT and their parents came along with us. So off we went to the great white tundra!

It was a long drive but we finally made it. I could not believe how much snow was there! I've never seen that much snow in my life. It was even snowing when we got there. When we got up the next morning I couldn't wait to go outside and play. There was a little hill in the back of the house, so we decided to try sledding. We geared up in our warm clothes...since it was about 5 degrees, and headed out.

Dad and Robert tried making a sled run for us. It was hard because the snow was so soft and powdery that it wouldn't pack down. When I tried to walk up the hill the snow came up to my waist! Robert got a good little practice run for us to go down. I also couldn't stop throwing snowballs at my mom!

I'm ready! Lets get this snow party started. I was not the least bit bothered by the snow melting down the back of my pants.

Here is Steffani (Romi's Mom) and RT. RT liked the snow as long as his hands were warm...and he wasn't laying face down in it:) It was hard to walk in that stuff!

Romi, on the other hand, was not a snow fan. This is the only picture Mom could snap of her...as she was stripping off her snow clothes! She is definitely a beach girl!

Nice pants Robert! Where can I get a pair?

Sledding was definitely a great beginning to my Winter Wonderland trip!

Max,

It looks like you had a lot of fun in the snow and you totally rip it up on the snowboard! Sweet moves, I think you are a natural. Now you just have to talk your mom into liking the snow! If anyone can do it, you can.

Love,

Aunt Jen
