I saw Mom packing up the chair, the toys, the towels, and the cooler. I had my suspicions...but when I got doused with sunscreen and had flip flops on my feet I knew it was true--BEACH TIME! Nothing signals the entrance of summer like the first beach trip. I couldn't wait.
Aunt Shalaine and Baby Marie got in on the beautiful beach action (okay it was overcast and windy, but who cares?)
Cuz was there of course.
I brought my old blue bucket for Marie. Lots of good times were had in that bucket in my early beach days...until I got big enough that I could flip it over.
Aunt Jill met us there too! She's not too big on pictures, so this is all you get.
Cuz hasn't logged too many hours on the beach so I showed him the ropes. Mom brought the big shovel and dug us a nice big pit.
Cuz and I spent a lot of time jumping into the pit and pushing sand in. Mom got lots of exercise redigging the pit! It was such a great way to kick off the summer and I can't wait for more looonnnggg beach days!

Okay so I started to laugh when I clicked on the first photo---if you look at it quick it looks like Axel is pulling a "Bonnie Consuelo" and trying to feed Max a sandwich while holding it in his foot! HaHa! It made me laugh. Fun seeing you last week!
Good times! Can't wait for our next beach trip. The bucket rules!
