This is Halloween

Why hasn't anyone told me about Halloween? You dress up like your favorite thing (obviously mine is Elmo) and walk around and people practically throw candy at you? AWESOME!!! On Friday before Halloween we went to Trunk or Treat at the church. Dad dressed up as a cowboy for work but didn't have the guts to wear it to trunk or treat.
Right before we left mom carved our little pumpkins. My mom seriously has some skill because she did all three in half an hour (she made me write that).

Which face is cuter? Mine or the pumpkins?

Romi's family was right next to us at the trunk or treat. I finally got to show her my sweet Elmo costume.

Wow, mom really went all out on the trunk...huh?! Well who cares as long as candy is being passed out? Mom made sure I had a nutritious dinner of McDonalds before consuming mass quantities of candy:)
On Saturday I got to go to a Halloween Party! I couldn't stop saying Halloween Party all day. It was Dylan and Devyn Peterson's Aunt and Romi's ...uh, great aunt? I don't get how all that works, but they are related and invited me, that's all that matters! We ate pizza and played games.

Dad helped me make a marshmallow mummy with fruit by the foot.

and I ate it!

Then we had a cake walk.

Yeah! they called my number! Mmmmm....cupcakes.

What Mom? More treats are coming? But this cupcake is so delicious.

Here is the whole gang of kids before we went trick or treating. Dylan and Devyn are standing next to me. Dylan is a fairy and Devyn was going to be Cinderella but settled for a Halloween cat.

I'm READY!!!!
We walked around this nice flat neighborhood where lots of houses were decorated for Halloween. There were even some spooky haunted houses! Mom was scared to go with me, but dad and I were super brave...anything for candy! I filled the whole Elmo head with candy, so I knew it was time to go home. What a fun Halloween!
