This past week I took the big long drive to Utah (or pootah, as my Mom calls it) with Paga, Cuz, Aunt Sha Sha, Uncle Corty, and Mom and Dad. It was a pretty fun trip! I didn't even mind the snow...although Mom says that is exactly why we don't live there.
It was about 10 hours of driving. That is a lot!! So I found ways to pass the time.
We stopped in Las Vegas on the way there and on the way back. We stayed in the Wynn on the way there, which was pretty awesome. This is the view out our bedroom window!
And my favorite part of the Wynn was the ULTRA comfy bed. Too bad Mom and Dad stuck me in a crib in the closet! They hogged the bed all to themselves.
We drove on to Park City to my Great Uncle Boyd's cabin. It was a pretty cool place. I still had to sleep in the closet, but this closet was as big as my room at home! There were TV's in every room, an awesome set of stairs I went up and down a million times, and the best part...
The GIANT spa bathtub! Me and Cuz had such a fun time every night playing in it. Mom said we couldn't turn on the jets because the water would be too deep, but we had bubble baths every night.
The grown-ups went to conference and Cuz and I got to stay with Cuz's Grandma and Grandpa. They were so fun! They even took us outside to have snowball fights! They would make us snowballs and I would throw them and Cuz would kick them. I didn't even want my parents to come back we were having so much fun!
We went down to Provo for a couple of days with Paga. There were lots of fun places to visit. We went to Provo bakery to get Paga's favorite raisin cookies. They looked yucky to me so I settled for pumpkin chocolate chip. We went to the Distribution Center, which was boring, so paga took me to the toy store!
We visited the Startup Candy Store, where Paga used to help cut out clear toys at Christmas. Me and Cuz got these big suckers that were delicious! We sucked on those things forever!
Then we went to BYU. This is where Paga, Mom, Aunt Sha Sha, and Uncle Corty went to school. We walked all around the campus and went to the book store. My Mom got me lots of BYU gear-a shirt, football, sippy cup, socks, and a bennie. Paga got me and Cuz matching jersey's and shorts! We are ready to root for the Cougars!
Ra, Ra, Ra, Ra, Ra, Ra....Goooooooo Cougars!
Here is me and Cuz cruising the campus for chicks.
We did lots of eating while we were in Utah. A couple trips to Cafe Rio, Gondolfo's, Frozen Custard...it was GREAT! A couple highlights were:
Stans! Mom used to work here and she LOVES the corn dogs. I munched on my share of fries and chicken nuggets. They make great shakes here, but the fried food extravaganza left no room for ice cream.
We went to Chicks Cafe in Heber City. I could not stop eating their bacon and sausage. Everyone else said the scones were pretty great too, but who has room?
The time came to make the long drive home. We packed in Paga's car and watched a lot of DVD's. We stopped in Las Vegas again but I was too tired to remember much of what happened! We finally made it home. What a FUN trip!
